This morning I couldn’t resist photographing these daffodils I bought for a pound in M&S a few days ago. They are flowers that always make me smile; that never fail to bring a touch of brightness to a dull day.
Another reason for me to be cheerful today is that I have approached my first publisher with the romantic novel currently called ‘Casting Off’, which I started during #NaNoWriMo in November 2020. It’s been through about seven drafts and I finally decided to stop fiddling with it and try sending it out.
During #NaNoWriMo in November 2021 I started a sequel. I’m about halfway through the first draft and will be revisiting it soon to continue Paula’s story.
I so agree Carol, flowers are really cheering. I love all the snowdrops there are this year. I do hope tomorrow’s storm doesn’t damage many of the emerging spring flowers.
Best of luck with your book too, great news. X

Thank you, M. There are so many snowdrops this year, apart from in my garden as the squirrel has had the bulbs! Hope your garden survives the storms and thank you for your kind wishes x
